David has previously worked for Monsanto Australia for 23 years, having recently left and establishing an agricultural biotechnology consultancy business, SGA Solutions Pty. Ltd. Since 1994, David has been involved in the management and commercialization of Australia's first agricultural biotechnology products GM cotton and GM canola. Prior to leaving Monsanto, David held the role of New Technology and Seed Business Manager for Australia and New Zealand, a role which extended across the agricultural biotechnology pipeline from proof of concept through to commercialization pathway development.

David brings to Farmacule Board extensive experience in developing and implementing business plans for agbiotech products, which included product value identification and evaluation, value capture strategy development, freedom to operate strategies including technology partnering and licensing, and establishment of platforms for delivery of agbiotech products to the market.

Currently, David provides agricultural biotechnology consulting services to a number of Government departments, industry organizations and private companies.
